cards, Catalogues, Stampin' Up!, swaps

SEE MY SWAPS FROM THE 2020 ANNUAL STAMPIN’ UP! CATALOGUE!

The last 2 posts I have shared swaps that I received from a Card Swap I joined in on with the 2020 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue. If you missed them do pop back and see them in the last posts.

Today I thought I would share more details on the cards I created for the swaps.

This card was for the Round 1 Swap Group. I have used the set Comfort and Hope.

I picked the colours for this card from some of the Designer Series Paper from last year I think.  Now I can’t remember which pack.  The colours are Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss and Mango Melody.  I wouldn’t have thought to put these colours together.

The Stitched circle with the swirly circles needed something underneath and I didn’t have any Blackberry Bliss Ribbon so I diecut 2 little banners from the Tasteful Labels Dies set and added them underneath.  It just adds another element.

I love sending cards in the mail “Just Because” so I really like this Paper Hug sentiment.

My swap card for Round 2 Group  I used the Tasteful Touches Bundle.

The colours used were Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron. When I was assembling the card I thought it was missed something so I added a vellum scallop circle using the die in the Tasteful Labels Dies set. It helps “ground” the flower. I used one of the other dies in the set to diecut the white  card with the flower stamped on it.

The Mint Macaron card was embossed with the Greenery Embossing Folder.  I added a little Linen Thread bow to finish it off.

I love joining in swaps and seeing all the amazing creations that I receive. It’s great getting the new ideas.

Have a great week. I hope it’s a creative one for you.

Jenny

PS. Don’t forget Bonus Days are on this month.
