3D projects, Awards, cards, Catalogues, Stampin' Up!, swaps

Last week we had a Team Recognition Day for the Inky Fingers Team I am in. It was a lovely day of creating together especially as we hadn’t been able to meet together for so long. We chatted and created and were recognised for our achievements this year.

This was all the lovelies in our team who attended the day.

Clare our DDM (Demonstrator Manager for Australia) was there. It is always so lovely to see her bubbly self. 🙂 This is also with Sarah one of my team members who came along too. It was so great to share that with her.

Vanessa our team leader gave some of us a little gift. There were particular requirements to attend the day and those who achieved the requirements TWICE received this gift box with some special ribbon and embellishments. I was so honoured to receive one.

The boxes are the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. Isn’t it gorgeous!

Below are the swaps I received. I didn’t make any swaps. We only found out the day before and I really didn’t have time to get anything together but people were so lovely to share some of their swaps with me.

This is a little bar of soap in the little cellophane bags. It is a lovely idea instead of chocolate.

This one is created with the Dove of Hope stamp set with the World Map Dies. I love how these co-ordinate together.

This is a little treat bag. Another lovely gift. It’s a great size for a mini chocolate.

This card below was created by my friend Leonie. It’s the cutest mini Pop-Up card using the Warm and Toasty stamp set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas.

The little tree inside is from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set.

Stop by tomorrow and I will share the cutest little gift box and mini cards we made as our projects.

Have a great day,

A few weeks ago I received a wonderful award from my Blogging friend Lynda.  It was the BBFF Award.

It was such an honour to receive this award.  Thank you again Lynda xx

Awards, Personal Ramblings

I just found out I received a special blog award.  It is very nice to receive these.  I feel very honoured.  My very loyal blog friend Lynda passed this award on to me.  Lynda is so encouraging and always leaves her lovely comments.  Go on over and visit her blog.  She makes such lovely cards and projects.  I always love to see what she has been up to. (Don’t forget to leave her a comment, because she is always so lovely to leave comments on mine and many other blogs.  It makes your day to receive one).

Here is my wonderful award.

The other special thing about this award is that was started by my very good stamping buddy Andrea.  She is such a lovely friend and if you haven’t stopped by her blog, you have to.  She creates such beautiful cards.

Thank You Lynda for my very special award.  I am very touched.

I think I am meant to pass this on to some others but I will have to think about that one.

Thank you to you all too for stopping by my blog.  Don’t be shy to leave a comment.  It’s always nice to know you are not talking to yourself!!

I have some fun things to show you that I have been up to lately so stop by again soon. xx

There has been a lot of lovin’ in blogland lately, if you haven’t noticed. Last week I received a lovely ‘Beautiful Blogger Award. Yesterday I received a ‘Sunshine Award’ from my good stamping buddy and team mate Andrea. Gee, Thanks Andrea!!!! It really brightened my day.

Don’t you just love that bright orange flower.  It’s enough to brighten anyone’s day.  I’m just going to pass this onto 2 bloggers today.

Leonie – My convention roomie and stamping buddy!!!  Leonie’s husband suffered heart attacks a couple of weeks ago.  It has been a very stressful time for them but he will make a good recovery.  I just wanted to brighten her day.  Pop on by and say hi to Leonie.

Tanya – Always encouraging and very busy on our ESAD forum.  Take some time for you Tanya!!!

But, I want to give all of you, my lovely blog readers, the Sunshine Award.  I appreciate you stopping by, I love your comments.  I hope you leave feeling inspired or encouraged!  Thanks for stopping by and don’t be scared to leave a comment and say HI!

Have a Sunshine-y Day!!!

I felt very honoured this morning.  I have received a “Beautiful Blogger” Award from Leah.  I have to say I really don’t deserve it.  I have been a very “bad” blogger lately.  I have had issues with my computer again.  It was sent back to the shop and we got it back yesterday.  We have had to reinstall everything!  But, at least they backed up everything and we didn’t lose a thing!  Thank Goodness.  So, now I hope to be back to regular blogging and maybe deserve this award!!

Thank you so much Leah!!!

Now, to I need to pass it on to 10 more beautiful blogs.  In no particular order, these are 10 blogs I visit often and inspire me.  Some of you lovely ladies probably don’t know I stalk you.  🙂  Thank you to you all.  There are so many others I could award this to though.

Now, I also need to tell you 10 things about myself.  You really don’t want to know do you????

1.  I have been a Christian for over 30 years and each day discover more and more of God’s Great love for us.

2.  I am married and have 2 children Josh 13 years and Carlie 9 years (who says she is nearly a teenager – watch out!)

3.  I live 200 metres from the beach and love to get down there several times a week.

4.  I have been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since August 2008 and have made some very special friends.  Such a bonus that I didn’t expect!

5.  Chocolate is a very essential food source containing antioxidants.  That’s why I eat it every day for a balanced diet 😉

6.  I love dolphins and was so thrilled to be a ‘trainer for a day’ at Sea World a couple of years ago.  Something I will never forget.

7.  I love papercrafts, reading, walking and bike riding.

8.  Did I tell you I like chocolate!!!

9.  Who needs Edward when I have my darling husband!  Awwww!!!

10.  I spend way too much time on this computer!!!!

That’s enough from me.  You’ve probably switched off now anyway.  I hope to be back very soon and show you some creating I have been up to.

Have a good day  🙂
