cards, Catalogues, Sale-A-Bration, Stampin' Up!

I shared this card on Facebook the other day with the Hippest Hippos stamp set and the Hippos Dies and just have to share it with you now. This card just makes me smile. 🙂

My snorkelling hippos are swimming with their Green Turtle Friend.

The top scallop water edge is from the Scalloped Contours Dies. The clouds are from the Wave Dies. The sentiment strip is from the Sending Dies. The rest you can find in the Hippos Dies. It’s great how all these dies come together to create a fun scene.

The turtle is from the Whale Done set.

Be sure to grab the Hippest Hippos stamp set now. And you might like to get the Hippos Dies to be able to dress them up.

They are both available only in July and August during Sale-A-Bration or While Supplies Last. (Which could be very quickly).

They are available as one of your bonus free picks for orders over $90 AUD for either the stamp set or the Hippos dies. So to get both you order over $180 AUD and then have fun!

Or you could choose any of the other great picks. Have you checked them all out yet?

You can see all the Sale-A-Bration choices -> HERE.

If you want to add one of these to your order when you shop online just add them at Checkout.

Wednesday’s WOW! #138 – Check out the Hippest Hippos.

Some cute little hippos are in town. I couldn’t help but tell you about them for our Wednesday’s WOW! this week.

Hippest Hippos and the Hippo Dies are available for Sale-A-Bration. You can choose each one with orders over $90 AUD.

The Hippest Hippos stamp set is really cool. But let’s really take a moment to notice the Hippo Dies though.

See them in the video below.

You can dress up your hippos to be really well …hip. Create a snorkelling hippo, a hippo splashing about in a tub, or walking along in the rain, maybe a dancing hippo, or just a sweet little hippo sending you some love. It’s lots of fun.

Check out these samples from Stampin’ Up! artists.

Aren’t they cute?

And just a note on that sunrays card. It is stamped with the Rays of Light Background stamp, then each sunray is cut along the lines. Some are lifted up and some are even cut out. Pretty cool idea!

So are you going to add the Hippos to your next qualifying order??

They would be fun cards for lots of different occasions.

Isn’t the Hippest Hippos Set for Sale-A-Bration so cute??

The Hippo Dies that go with them just take it to another level. But today I’m not showing the dies. Let’s just have a simple card with the Hippest Hippos. I have pulled out the 2022 In Colors too using the 2022 In Color Designer Series Paper.

The card mat was embossed with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder.

I created a different edge from the 2022-2024 In Color paper with the Basic Borders Dies. The leafy stem is from the Splendid Stems Dies.

Have you checked out all the bonus picks for Sale-A-Bration?

There are lots of lovelies.

Pick an item as your free gift with orders over $90 or $180. Hippest Hippos are just one of them.

Did you know it’s World Watercolouring Month?? A month of celebrating and sharing all things watercolouring.

I’m no expert at watercolouring. But I have picked up some tips along the way. And practice makes perfect right. 🙂

There are lots of different ways to watercolour and different mediums to use. I shared a video recently on using Watercolor Pencils. In today’s video I’m using the Ink Pads and Water Painters to create a watercolour wash and more detailed watercolouring.

I pulled out the Painted Poppies Stamp Set. I haven’t used this in a while.

Check out the video below.

This card was inspired by one in the current Annual Catalogue on Page 29.

I hope you pull out your inkpads and Painters and get watercolouring.

Have a great day,

You can create a very easy Z Fold card with the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes. Simply score the front of the card in half. Turn the card inwards then fold the card back on itself on the fold.

Add a strip of the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper inside the card. Then on the front add a tea cup and flowers on a diecut rectangle from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

What do you think? It’s very quick and easy to create.

The Tea Boutique is a great collection of products.

You can see it in my store -> HERE.

Do you have lemon in your tea? Hot Lemon and honey is great as a tea when you have a sore throat or cold. There is a lot of that going around here where I am at the moment.

With the Tea Boutique Suite you can create Lemon Tea projects.

You can create a frame from the paper. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies. You can use other shape dies too.

The sentiment is from the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set.

Following from the last post about my Winter Crafternoon, today I wanted to show you the projects that everyone got to make.

Everyone received a pack of the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes in their Goodie Bag that they could create the cards with. They could take the rest home to create more. I shared other projects with them of card ideas using the Cards and Envelopes as well.

These are the 2 projects.

The colours use the lovely 2022-2024 In Colors of Tahitian Tide, Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party.

The Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper matches so well with these colours and products too.

I cut all the elements for the card and everyone got to stamp and cut some of the images. Trying to be more Environmentally conscious rather than packing all the kits for the cards in Cello bags I made up little pouches using the Envelope Punch Board with pages from the retiring January to June Mini Catalogue.

The Tea Boutique Suite Collection is a lovely group of products and can make some very quick cards. See it in my store -> HERE.

Shop in store at the above Link. Please use the Host Code: 99CMHTER

Or contact me directly and I can help you with these lovely products or any others for your creative endeavours.

Have a great day,

On the weekend I held my Winter Crafternoon event at a local Tea Room. It was such a lovely day. I thought I would share some of it with you.

We had a large group of excited crafters. The projects were around the Tea Boutique Suite. Very apt for this venue. 🙂

Lots of creative fun.

After crafting it was a relaxing time with chatting over Devonshire Tea. Everyone had an enjoyable time and talks of another Crafternoon for next year is already happening.

Crafting brings people together to chat and connect and talk and share. Isn’t it a wonderful thing. It’s not just ink and paper.

How delectable is this?? All presented so beautifully.

Such a lovely display in the Tea Room at Sugar, Butter Eggs in Woonona. Owned and operated by my lovely friend Harmony and her husband.

Rather than packing the card kits in Cello bags I made up little pouches with the Envelope Punch Board from pages of the retiring Mini Catalogue.

I made up little tags to go with a Chocolate Treat in their Goodie Bags.

I will share more of the projects everyone created in the next post so be sure to stop on by.

And if you are local be sure to head in to Sugar, Butter, Eggs in Woonona for a lovely Devonshire Tea, High Tea or any other delectable you might like. (See it HERE).

See you back here tomorrow for part 2.

cards, Stampin' Up!

Today a little “happy” card for you. Well I hope it is anyway.

I have shared a lot of cards recently with the Wild and Sweet Stamp set but realised I hadn’t shared this one.

I teamed the koala with the Hues of Happiness paper. It makes for a bright, happy card.

The koala is simply stamped in Gray Granite. The scallop edge is from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

I realised that the sentiment is I think, from a retired stamp set. I was trying to find where it was from. Sorry.

Fun Fact for my overseas readers. A Koala is not a bear. It is commonly called that. It is in fact a marsupial and not related to the bear family. 🙂

Hope you have a “happy” Wednesday.
