Just a quick post for you today.  I have only just got back from holidays today.  I might share some of my crazy adventures with you here sometime but for now a quick card.

I realised I hadn’t shared some projects from Onstage from November.  You might have seen a few ideas around different blogs.  Today is a quick card using the ‘Inside the Lines’ DSP.  Colouring for Adults has taken the world by storm I think.  While I love a little colouring I haven’t really caught on with this phase (perhaps I would rather stamp!). Stampin’ Up! have now some Designer Series Paper to colour.  I have seen some great ideas recently where you don’t need to colour too much so I might have to try some of these ideas out sometime.

Here is a card you can make in no time and it only requires just a little colouring.  Of course with the gorgeous new Watercolor Pencils.

Using a section of the paper you can cut the piece into sections. Here I have cut it in 3 sections. Colour one piece with the pencils and assemble them together on your card front. The sentiments are from Dragonfly Dreams.  On the “Thanks” just that word is coloured with black marker and stamped on a strip of white card.  The background stamping using another sentiment is inked in the Tangerine Tango and stamped over the card.  Ink once and stamp it on the card then stamp again elsewhere to get a lighter stamping. You can stamp a third time too before inking.  Repeat this several times over the card.

Finish the card with some Black Twine and some Burlap Ribbon. 🙂 You can receive this paper as one of your Free choices for Sale-A-Bration.  There are some other wonderful choices too.  Have you checked the catalogue out yet?  You can click on the link in the right hand column.

For every $90 you can grab your Free choice. Have you made your shopping list yet?  You can then stop by my store (link in the side column) and shop up big.  Don’t forget to grab your Free Sale-A-Bration set too.

It has been over a week now since I have returned from Brisbane for Onstage Live.  I haven’t stopped since getting back.  I now have had a few minutes to look at the photos I took and thought I would share a few of the fun moments.

It was very exciting to be a part of. Brisbane held the Live event running over 3 days of fun presentations, seeing gorgeous new products and great business sessions.  Some of the presentations were telecast to centres around the world where the Onstage Local events were being held for one day.

Brisbane is a beautiful city – with even a beach right in the middle of the city!!

The event opened with these amazing guys. Swagamama is a local hip-hop break-dance group.  Their performance was incredible with their choreography and acrobatics. You didn’t know where to look next.

Even the President Rich Jutkins is not afraid to stamp.  He did a good job too. 🙂

Shelli of course demonstrated some gorgeous projects.

I am not going to share too many of the new products at the moment but I will share just one project Shelli made.  Isn’t it gorgeous with the new Dragonfly Thinlits.  Ooh! look is that Watercolour pencils?? 😉

There were so many fantastic presentations showing new products coming up in the Occasions Catalogue and for Sale-A-Bration.  So many great new techniques too that I just have to try. I might show you some of the projects at a later date though so I don’t give too much away at the moment.  😉

At the end of the last day things were going a little downhill – fast!! I won’t say too much about this but it was very hard for Sara and Shelli to keep it together.  It is a bit blurry but just shows the mayhem! Sweet innocent shelli 😉

We already had Rich showing how he could stamp and he mentioned then it would be so much worse if he was on stage with Sara and Shelli.  So ……  They got him up right at the end for him to finish the project.  Pressure was on!

Here is my name badge with ribbons. It is only a small little collection from others but I was pleased with my achievements for this past year.

With some of my stamping buddies, Leonie (left) here and Sarah (right) one of my downline at the great sign.

It was so good to see Shannon West again from the US Home Office.  She is so gorgeous.

Onstage is such a fun, inspirational event.  I am looking forward to Onstage Local in Sydney in April.

Thanks for looking.  It was just a little insight in to the fun.

As you may know the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event is on right now and I am in Brisbane for the Live event.  It is very exciting!  Part of the fun of the event is swapping with other demonstrators. It’s great sharing ideas and meeting up with others.

I had grand plans for swaps again this year but with college assignments, Stampin’ Up! stuff, family stuff and life it just didn’t work out.  I had my design worked out though.

Although I didn’t get to make a number of them as swaps I made one ready for the display board at Onstage.

So here it is.  I was inspired by cards on Pinterest for this.  This is using the set ‘Paisleys and Posies’.

To create this. First cut a circle using the Layering Circle Framelits from scrap paper. The scrap paper is the same size as your Whisper White mat and you will cut it near the top of your paper. This is your mask piece.

Lay the scrap piece over your white card mat and stamp your images. On this card I have used Flirty Flamingo. Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron inkpads. Stamp your sentiment on the white card in Black.

I layered the card on to a Peekaboo Peach card base. Then finish with a diecut flower from the ‘Paisleys Thinlits’ and an adhesive pearl in the centre.

I hope you like the card anyway. At least I can share it with you.

We are having a fantastic time at Onstage. I so love catching up with my demonstrator friends.  I can’t wait to share the exciting new products coming very soon. So watch this space. 🙂

Now just before I sign off today too since we are talking about Onstage and swapping. I posted Live on my business Facebook page yesterday about the craziness of swapping. You might be able to catch that there still if you head to my page. The link is in the right hand side bar. My first attempt at Facebook Live but I hope to bring more to you soon. 🙂

I hope you have an awesome weekend.

We made this card at Stampin’ Up! Onstage in April.  You might have seen some versions of it around.  I thought it was about time I share mine with you.  Check out that paper.  It is the ‘Affectionately Your’s Designer Series Paper and it has little specks of copper colour in the paper making it very sparkly.  Copper is so on-trend at the moment.

Onstage card

I am still not completely sure of the stamp set (Love and Affection) but I really love the Floral Affections Embossing Folder.  What do you think? The greeting is from the set and is stamped on Watermelon Wonder card. The base card is Mint Macaron. The card is nice with that little bit of shine from the paper.

It is very, very wet here this weekend.  Just the weekend to stay inside and craft away I would say. 🙂

Stay safe wherever you are.  I hope you have some crafting time,

OK,  I wondered if I should show you this, like really, would you really want to see some new products. 😉  I don’t want to spoil the surprise of the new catalogue so I am just going to show you some teeny tiny sneak peeks.

I just love the way Stampin’ Up! display their products at these events like Onstage so I couldn’t resist sharing them.

Don’t you love the way the ribbon is displayed? And don’t you just love the new incolor ribbon?? 🙂

This paper is pretty …. Festive!

It’s even cool how the Washi Tape is displayed.

Love the detail in these dies!

So that’s your sneak.  Are you excited for the new catalogue? You should be.  It is fantastic.

If you would like a catalogue sent to you (Australian residents only) and you don’t have a current demonstrator then drop me a comment and I will send one out to you as soon as I can.  You will love it.

Be back again soon,

I have some more of the fun to share with you today from Onstage last week.

We all love Bonnie.  Bonnie works  at the Home office in Utah and is so fun. 🙂

One of the projects Bonnie shared using a new set coming. (Lovely Stitching)

I love this new set (fresh Fruit) and what about the new incolors!

I love teddies and I might have a few around. 😉 This is going to be a must-have set for me. (Baby Bear)

A new embossing folder perhaps??? (Floral Affection)

So what do you like here?

I might share some more projects in next post.
