I have my classes on this weekend using the Nature’s Poem Suite. This has become a popular bundle for many people. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I have recently got them so I thought I would share a few cards with you that I have made.
I have shared a few cards with this bundle before. If you want to check on those be sure to click on the tag for “nature’s poem”. Here is one post -> HERE to get you started on though.
Here are a couple more cards.
For this first one I stamped some of the leaves over white card to create a background. I added a short length of the Burlap ribbon behind the oval sentiment and then added one of the diecut leaves stamped in Early Espresso. I am really not sure of this though. I think it is too heavy. What do you think?
For this one below I was trying a few different things. I liked the words separated. I really like this sentiment. I know a few people who I could use this saying for. If you notice the white background there are some embossed leaves on it. In the Nature’s Roots Framelits set there are some leaves that don’t cut but emboss your card. That’s pretty cool.
The rest of the card is fairly simple with a strip of the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper, Grapefruit Grove twine and the tree stamped in Early Espresso and die cut out.
I hope you like them.
Thanks again for visiting me. I love that you stop on by. Please visit again. 🙂
Have a great day,
I had my 2018 Catalogue Showcase over the weekend. I still have one more to go tomorrow. I thought I would show you just some photos from it.
With all the new changes I wanted to feature many of the new colours.
Below is a display with some new products. I will show more of these cards in later posts.
Some Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut paper samples. I have been sharing some of these samples recently. (some things get a little messy over the time with lots of touching and feeling. It’s nice everyone enjoys them).
Some serious concentration from one of the groups while they create and study the catalogue. (They were having fun).
Tomorrow I will show you the projects we made.
Another Daisy Delight card for you today. This one was CASED again (from Anne’s blog HERE). Time was running out to get my samples made for the Craft Show.
This was my version. I made a few changes to the original.
I like how some of the other flowers from the set are used. For my card I matted the white on black and the base is Sweet Sugarplum. I stamped and punched out 2 Daisy flowers in Sweet Sugarplum. I like the fuller flower.
Along the bottom I stamped the little stems and flower heads. I was a bit worried how they would line up but really that is they style and it doesn’t matter if they are a little off-set. I have sponged Pear Pizzazz (I am pretty sure it was) along the bottom and up into the flowers. I like the softness it brings.
Have you got this set yet? I have to say I really didn’t need this at first. I have lots of flower stamps. Then I just bought the punch because you know, I saw some great cards with it. But….Well it’s great having the punch but there are so many options to the flowers. So I had to buy the stamp set then. Don’t be a silly nong like me (an Aussie term for being a twit or an idiot). Get the bundle straight up and save 10%.
Here is the Daisy Delight Bundle for you if you haven’t already checked it out.
If you are in Australia you can buy the bundle (don’t resort to just the punch!!) by contacting me directly or see it in my store HERE now for $54.75 in Photopolymer. Please use the Host Code: YN7BVYYQ
ALSO, I always seem to neglect to tell people that you can collect one punch out on my VIS (Very Important Stamper) Loyalty card for every $50 order. Once you collect 10 you get free products up to the value of $24.95.
Thanks for visiting today. I hope your weekend is going awesome.
See you again tomorrow,
This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest using a different Christmas set. I like the idea of the “negative” cut trees. Check this out!!! The Designer Series Paper is from the Delightful Daisy DSP. It’s not even a Christmas paper! It looks like falling snow though doesn’t it. 🙂 The other trees are cut from the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
The sentiment on this card is from the Holly, Berry Happiness set. Such a nice sentiment. It is stamped in Smoky Slate. Sometimes I like stamping in the grey. It is just a little softer.

Did you catch the last post about some cute projects I shared from my fairs last week?? If you didn’t then you can click on the link just above “Fair Projects Update”. First though, read up on some more projects I have to share.
These Easel Calendars were very popular at all 3 events which was interesting. There are a number of different tutorials on Pinterest to make your own which is where I found instructions to make these. They are very easy to make.
Here they are.
Here are some Magnet Calendars I made also.
I used up lots of retired papers again. They were all different and very easy to make.
Now for some Gift Card Holders. The tutorial for these can be found HERE. I kept mine fairly simple.
The Wine Bottle Tags I made I have already shared. If you missed them you can find them in this post HERE but I will show you the photos below. They were very popular too. They are a nice way to dress up a bottle of wine.
I have shared a number of posts for Fair Projects over the time and they have been very popular posts. If you missed out on these posts then click on the links below.
Next post I will show you the Make and Take we did at one of the events which was well liked. 🙂 Make sure you stop by,

Here they are close-up.

I thought I would share some of the things from my launch on the weekend. It was such a fun time and I am sorry if you couldn’t make it. 🙂
Firstly, I have to show you my butterfly wall. It is a bit hard to photograph. The lighting is not the best. It is a bit overcast today when I took these photos.
I will show you some close-ups. I have used the Butterflies Thinlets and the cute new Incolor Blossom Accents.
These are some of the treat bags I made for my lovely guests. Sorry I didn’t take photos of all the flower colours. These were last minute things as my order didn’t arrive until the 11th hour. The glue was still drying when the first guests arrived 🙂
I used the large Cello bags. I added some of the sheets from the ‘Cherry on Top’ DSP stacks and added a doily. I cut some Balloons and banners with the Balloon Framelits and added a chocolate treat and some post-it notes.
It is hard to tell in the photo but I ran the bag through the Big Shot with the Boho Chic Embossing Folder.
Here is a close-up of the pegs for the bags. I punched out a flower with the Petite Petals Punch and adhered a flower onto it with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This was then adhered to a little peg. It was a simple, cute idea. I got the idea from a lovely friend of mine 🙂
I thought I would share the Colour Comparison chart for the new Incolors. It’s a good way to see how they fit in with other current colours. (Once again sorry about the lighting! I really have to do something about this). 🙂
Next post I will show you the Make and Takes we did. I think that is enough photos for one day. 🙂
