DRESSED TO IMPRESS SCRAP PAGE!

I don’t do a lot of memory keeping or scrapbooking but I created this page for Onstage back in November when I presented the Dressed To Impress Bundle.  I realised I hadn’t shared it with you.

This page is of my sweet girl who is now a big girl.  She LOVED dressing up.  It was her most favourite thing to do.  Everyday she would pull out the dress ups.  I made a mini album some time ago just with photos of her in her dress ups.  She had quite the style.

This is a 12″x12″ page.  I used 3 different prints from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper pack and layered them together. I added a few dies with the All Dressed Up Dies and a little stamping.  I think this suite is ideal for these type of photos don’t you think??? 🙂 Perhaps I need to make a few more pages with it.

The Dressed To Impress Bundle is carrying over in to the new catalogue but it won’t be as a bundle.  Buying it now will save you 10%.

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper won’t be carrying over- grab that now before it goes.

See them in my store now -> HERE.

You can order there or Contact me to add your order.

Don’t forget to add the Host Code in the checkout on the store.  Host Code – WF9YsVMB

Just days left to get this month’s Tutorial too.

I actually used a different print of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper in my project.  Here is another sneak of that too.

Thanks for visiting me. Have an awesome week,

BEST DRESSED MOTHER’S DAY CARD!

You don’t need to do a lot to create a card for Mum for Mother’s Day. The gorgeous Best Dressed Designer Series Paper does it all.

After adhering some of this pretty print on to the card I diecut 2 frames from white card using the Stitched Rectangles Dies and the Layering Squares Dies together. To interlock them I cut one and then could slip the frame through the other one.

The flowers are stamped with Memento Ink and coloured with the StampinBlends. The sentiment is stamped on Purple Posy card and cut with the sentiment die in the All Dressed Up Dies.

Paper makes cardmaking so easy. You can’t go wrong with this gorgeous paper either. I hope you grab some of this paper before it goes. It’s available in my store now.

Happy Creating,

Jenny

IN THE TROPICS DAISY!

I had this idea in my head for a little while and thought I would give it a try. I have to say it didn’t work out as well as I had imagined. But, … I’m going to show anyway.

When I first saw the pineapple top in the In The Tropics Dies I wondered if it would make a grassy clump. That idea could work with the Daisy Lane set or similar.

After I cut the “grass” I sponged the ends with the Old Olive ink.

The patterned paper is from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper pack.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set and was cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

What do you think of this idea? Yay or Nay?

I’m keeping this brief today. Our computer has died so doing this on the IPad and Phone. I’m adaptable right. 😆 So apologies roday for the standard of the post.

Thanks for visiting me.

ORNATE THANKS CARD WITH FANCY SENTIMENT!

Another card for you today with the Ornate Thanks stamp set and the Ornate Borders Dies.

The stripe paper is from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper (DSP).

TIP: Adhere the flowery border behind the piece of DSP and then on to the white card before trimming.  Then you can trim it to size neatly.

The white card is embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder for some texture.

If you take a look at the sentiment box.  The white card with the heat embossed sentiment is diecut with the stitched rectangle from the Ornate Layers Dies.  Check the ends though??  I diecut part of one of the frames from the Ornate Layers Dies from Silver Foil and then adhered it then behind the sentiment box for a little fancy edge.  Try it yourself.  🙂

What do you love most in the Ornate Garden Suite? I’m sure you know by now how much I love the dies. 😀

I hope you are doing ok in your part of the world. Keep safe.

BEST DRESSED THANKS!

I have had this card to show you for some time now.  It’s about time I share it with you.

As I have mentioned previously I presented at Onstage in November with the Best Dressed Suite.  I made this card for Clare from the Stampin’ Up! office in Sydney to Thank her for firstly asking me to present, but also to believe in me and cheering me on during the weeks of preparations and rehearsals at Onstage.  It was an amazing opportunity and I was very Thankful to have had that experience.

Just a few details on the card.  The sentiment label is cut with the Stitched Labels Dies and the Stitched Shapes Dies.  The sentiment is from the Love What You Do stamp set.  The shoes from the Dressed To Impress Stamp set were coloured with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The perfume bottle and the flower are cut from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.

This is a sweet set and I have just dragged it out to play with it again over the last couple of weeks so it was fun to be using it again.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a great week.  Keep on creating in these crazy times.

ORNATE GARDEN AND BEST DRESSED TOGETHER FOR A FAST ACTION CARD!

I was playing around just recently to put this card together.  I decided to film a video creating it to show the process I go through sometimes in creating a card. So not to bore you too much I sped the video up – with my lovely daughter’s technical skills. I have still much to learn in this area.  😉

When I make a card there is often a lot of deliberation and shifting things and uncertainty until it comes together.  I’m sure you find that too.

For this card I had a plan.  I always sketch the plan out first for a card.  I had already stamped and coloured the perfume bottle from the Dressed To Impress stamp set.  That was left over from another project.  I wanted to use some of the new Ornate Garden Suite that I had.

I have used the Ornate Borders Dies and the Ornate Layers Dies.  The paper is from the Dressed To Impress Designer Series Paper.  I also used the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.

So check the quick video out.

Do you like these super quick videos?  Would you like to see more of them?  I will see what my editor can do. 🙂

Here is the finished card for you.

Have a great day,

Jenny

BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS WEEK – DAY 5 – PAPER PIECED GIRLS!

I have been sharing projects all this week featuring the Beautiful Moments stamp set.  Today I have 2 classes using this set.  I thought for Day 5 of the Showcase I would share with you one of the cards we will be making.

This card was inspired by Su Mohr.  I changed it a little.  I liked the idea that you don’t have to colour it with Blends or inks or other mediums but by using patterned paper you can add colour to the images.  This Technique is known as Paper Piecing.

I have used the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.  To create this first stamp your image in Black Memento on to white card.  This card was cut with the Nature’s Thoughts Dies.  I love this dotted pattern around the edge.

After diecutting the piece then stamp your images on your chosen pieces of Designer Series Paper.  Cut around the outside of the lines on these images.  Then adhere these to the stamped image.  It’s a bit like playing with Paper dolls when we were younger.  Do you remember that? That was such fun.

For the rest of the card I stamped the palm tree in Old Olive ink on to Crumb Cake and then embossed the card with the Subtle Embossing Folder. This was adhered to a Thick Whisper White card base.

Before adhering the stamped white card I looped around some Linen Thread.  Then the piece was raised up off the card with Dimensionals.

For the sentiment it was stamped on Purple Posy card and then cut with a small Stitched Rectangles Die.  The left hand end was trimmed to fit on to the card but it makes a different look for the sentiment block too. The card was finished with a Pearl.

I hope you have liked the projects this week.  It has been fun creating with this sweet set.

I do hope you add it to your collection.  You can grab it in store now -> HERE.

Thanks for stopping by today and taking the time to visit my corner of blog land,

Happy Stamping,

Jenny
