It’s been another busy year of crafting here. Thanks for following me along.
I thought I would take a few minutes and share my favourite projects from the past year. So come on a little journey with me. And click on the heading of the project to take you back to the original post and read more about them. Even catch the video of many of them.
I loved this gorgeous Friendly Hello Paper available for Sale-A-Bration in January. And this is great fold to show both sides of the gorgeous paper. (Must try that again).
This was a great stamp set to create a Slider card. But you can try this with any of your stamps. What about that Sunshine and Rainbows paper. So bright and Happy. 🙂
Let’s face it – Male cards are hard to make aren’t they?? We had a great Masculine Cards Class earlier in the year. The Let’s Set Sail stamps and punch were fun to use.
The Wild and Sweet Stamp set was one of my top picks from the new catalogue in May. I don’t do a lot of colouring but I loved colouring this cute Koala. I shared some tips colouring this image in the video for this card.
The Hues of Happiness was another of my top picks from the catalogue. I think many people also loved this suite. The Tunnel cards I created with this has been very popular.
The most popular event this year with the Winter Crafternoon. It was such a fun time crafting together followed by a Devonshire Tea. Watch out for more events in the new year.
Another very popular Fun Fold from this year was the Diagonal Fold Card with the Christmas Lights Bundle. Lots of people have shared their versions with me which has been so great.
Is there a theme here with Fun Folds that are my favourite projects for the year. I do love a Fun Fold card. This one was the Half Fold Easel Card with the Hippest Hippos Stamp set for Sale-A-Bration.
It was great to be part of a collaboration to share you some fantastic Christmas projects. I kicked the 12 days series off with my project, A candle with the Merriest Moments stamps and dies. You just have to go back to that post and start the 12 Days of Christmas to check out all the projects.
I hope you have enjoyed looking back at these projects. I can’t wait to share more with you in the coming year.
To lots of creating in 2022. Come and join in with me and follow along.
Time is running out to get your Christmas cards made but here is a quick idea for you with a little extra WOW!
Grab some paper I have used the Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper. There is not much time left for this paper so don’t miss out on it. I have shared it a lot and I know you will love it.
Layer this on to a card mat then on to your card.
Dress it up with a large sentiment and frame it. I have used the Framed Florets Dies. Add some texture with the Textured Elements and some soft ribbon.
Quick and Fancy.
Hope this helps you with your last minute Christmas creating.
Christmas is getting closer and I’m sure you are getting frantic. Well I am anyway. Still haven’t finished the Christmas shopping – and as for cards …
Anyway, if you are in a rush but you need a speedy little treat bag for someone then I have one to share with you today. These are just the size for some chocolates or jewellery or even a Gift Card.
I shared the Snowflake Vellum bags I created for my class attendees on my Facebook last week. And everyone loved them. I thought I would put together a video to show you just how easy they are to make so you can whip up some yourself.
These are the SnowflakeVellum Treat Bags if you missed them on Facebook and Instagram.
Now here is the little bag created with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.
The Gift Tag is one we created in class at our Tags and More class last week. I just thought it would work well with this paper. It uses the Merriest Moments Stamp set and the dies. Unfortunately the stamp set is now sold out.
These bags were inspired by ones I saw on my lovely friends Sam’s blog on Pootles. I couldn’t find the original when I went back to them. I did change these a little. But if you haven’t checked out Pootles yet you really should. Sam has some quick, easy gift bags and treat holders to create. You can find Pootles -> HERE.
You can catch the video here or now on Youtube.
Do you want to make your own?
Here are the measurements for you.

Our Christmas is (usually) hot and sunny. We will see what this year turns out to be considering the weather lately …
Today’s card is one for our Aussie Christmas. Or for those in a warm, sunny climate at this time of year.
We are forgetting the snowmen and snowflakes and going for all things beachy.
The Stamps used were Christmas Lights,Waves of Inspiration and Friends are Like Seashells. The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts. The paper is the Celebrate Everything Paper Pack.
This card was inspired by one I saw searching online but now I can’t remember who sorry.
What do you think?
Hope your week goes awesome. And you get those Christmas preparations done. I need to hit the shops tomorrow to finish (or get close…)
Jenny

Wednesday’s WOW! #143 – How to create Luminescence to your “lights”.
Here’s a different effect for your Baubles or Ornament type stamps to give that glow (luminescence).
Stamp them on a coloured card rather than white. Then with a Sponge Dauber and White Ink add a little white over them. This would work well with Embossed images preferably. How cool!
While I’m not showing you here how to do it you can see the effect.
This particular project uses the Family and Friends stamp set.
Hope you get to try it yourself.
Happy Stamping,
Jenny
Need to order and you are in Australia? I would love to serve you.
