CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS IN JULY WITH SOME STAMPING FUN!

Christmas in July 2016

We are celebrating Christmas in July next week (from 19th – 22nd July) so  come and join in the fun and see some cute projects to get you on your way for the silly season.

Each day I will be sharing a Christmas project that I hope will inspire you.  We will have time to chat and have some fun.  I will have some great specials through the week too.

There are 2 different ways to follow along.

1) This will run through a Facebook group.  Please Click HERE to ask to join.  Invite friends of yours to join in too.

2) Not on Facebook? You can receive the projects by email. Please email me to ask to join in and I will send you an email each day with the project and the special. You will just miss out on the chatting.

The best part is – it’s all free!!! So come and join in!

Here is a sneak of one of the projects I will be sharing.  I can’t wait to share it all with you.

INDIGO NATIVITY!

Is life busy for you at the moment?  I think we are all starting to feel a little time-pressured with Christmas preparations and shopping and the end of year activities.  Well, if you are feeling that way then you will understand my absence of late.  I am starting to tick off some really huge projects on my ‘To Do’ list so I think things are getting a little clearer – although I haven’t done a lot of Christmas shopping yet so I won’t speak too soon!

Anyway, enough of my rambling.  You are here to see what fantastic, exciting creations I have been doing.  I can’t guarantee all that but here is a card I created a couple of weeks and I hadn’t shown you yet.

P1100695

The layout is from a card I had filed away for a few years but thought it would work here.  The little nativity scene is from the ‘Best of Christmas’ set. (This is a great little set for $25.95 with some great images in the set).  It is stamped on Whisper White and then I cut a circle on the Island Indigo card with the Circles Framelits.  I embossed the card with the Snow Flurry Embossing Folder and added a few Rhinestones.  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping by.  I do appreciate your visits to my little corner of blogland.  I really don’t need to talk to myself here!

Stop by again soon,

Jenny

SILVER EMBOSSED CALM CHRISTMAS

This is a card we made at a workshop last week using Calm Christmas.  When I first saw it I thought it would look great embossed.

P1090830

I CASED this from a card from Splitcoaststampers. The paper is from the Winter Frost DSP Paper Stack.  This pad of papers is such great value at $11.95 for 48 sheets.  The size is just right to use on a card front or you have a lot to play with to add strips to the card like I have here.   You get 24 sheets of 2 double-sided designs.  I love the colours used in this pad.  So I think I will be making a lot of cards using this colour pallette for Christmas this year!

Anyway, back to the card. The dove was silver embossed which gives it such a nice shine.  I added a strip of Island Indigo card that was punched with the Ribbon Border Punch and layered over some silver ribbon.  The greeting from this set is silver embossed too.  This was punched out with the Scallop Circle Punch and layered over an oval punched from Island Indigo.  I added a silver bow to the top of the greeting.

I have some more cards to come with this set so stay tuned.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have a happy week.  🙂
