SOME FAVOURITE CARDS FROM 2017!

It’s the end of another year.  I have to say I have really enjoyed my stamping this year.  I have tried some new techniques and got involved in some challenges.  It’s been fun!

I thought I would look back at some of my favourite projects from this past year.  Now I did think I would pick one from each month but it was getting too hard.  So I have just picked a few.  If you click on the title you can see more details of the project.

** Apologies in advance: lots of photos. 🙂

Delicate Details Dragonfly

I think the Delicate Details stamp set was my favourite for Sale-A-Bration for 2017.

Multi Stamping for the boys cards

The Nailed It set was great for the boys cards earlier this year.

Carousel Birthday Bendi Card

I have wanted to make a Bendi for a long time so it was great to finally make one.  I must make another one again soon.

This was the most popular class for the year.

DAFFODIL DAISY DELIGHT!

I realised I hadn’t shown you all my Delightful Daisy cards.  I started sharing them a couple of weeks ago but then there was something about a new catalogue coming out …:)

So I shall show you a few over the next couple of posts.

Today’s card is so bright and sunshine-y.  I love the gorgeous Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. The prints are so lovely.

This was the first time I had used the small flowers from the Daisy Delight stamp set.  I cut the circle from Stitched Shapes Framelits first so I could see where to position the flowers. The flower outline image and the filler image was stamped in Daffodil Delight and the stems were stamped in Old Olive.  I cut a scallop circle using the Layering Circle Framelits in Silver Foil.

The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics stamped on to Daffodil Delight card mat which was then embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

So happy and bright.

Thanks for looking,

Jenny

DELIGHTFUL DAISY DSP MAKE AND TAKE CARD!

This next card I made as a possible contender for a Make and Take card for the Craft Show.  It didn’t make the cut but I think it shows the lovely Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Daisy Delight Bundle.

This card was inspired by 2 cards I saw on Pinterest by Dawn Olchefske.  I wanted it to be a quick and easy card so  I used the different ideas for this card.

I made the card as a one layer card on Thick Whisper White card base.  One long strip of the Delightful Daisy DSP was adhered across the bottom and a different smaller piece was adhered to the top left hand side.

The Daisy was stamped in Calypso Coral ink on Calypso Coral card and then punched out with the Daisy Punch.  Yes it is Calypso Coral.  It looks more orange.

For the leaves I cut a daisy out with the Daisy Punch from Tranquil Tide ink.  Then snipped a few petals to adhere behind the daisy.   I punched a small circle out with the 1/2″ Circle Punch from Tranquil Tide to go in the centre of the flower.  Then added a Gold Faceted Gem.

The sentiment is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.

More Daisy Cards coming soon,

Jenny

A DAISY MAKE AND TAKE!

This past weekend I was at a Craft Show with my Stamping buddy Leonie.  I love meeting people and sharing stamping with them.  It is lots of fun to share in their excitement and joy when they discover new things.

I thought I would show you the make and take we did at our stand.  We focused on the Daisy Delight Bundle. I am so glad that is available again.

This card was CASED from Julie Davison on Julie’s Stamping Spot. I couldn’t locate this exact card on her blog. I originally found it on Pinterest and it didn’t link back to the exact post.

The card is a very simple one but I think effective and uses the Daisy Delight Stamp set, the Daisy Punch and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper.  You can find all of them on Page 127 of the Annual Catalogue.  I changed the sentiment to Happy Birthday which is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set for the make and take.

This is the Bundle if you can’t get to see it in the Catalogue.

Now it’s back make sure you grab it in my store -> HERE now.

I have lots of cards using this bundle that I will share with you this week so be sure to check in.

See you tomorrow,

Jenny
