IT’S A ZIG ZAG FOLD + VIDEO!

Have you made a Zig Zag Fold Card before? They are so easy and fun. The great thing I love about this fold too is that you get to see both sides of the gorgeous paper. Who really wants to hide one side away!

Here is the card.

Don’t forget the inside when you make one.

I have used the Hues of Happiness Paper. So pretty! And with the Happiness Abounds Bundle.

You can catch the video now below to make your own.

Follow along with the video for the measurements or they will be sent out in next week’s Newsletter. Have you subscribed yet? I send out a different Tutorial each week. Some projects I haven’t shared before on Facebook or on my blog. Click on the link in the Right Hand Column on my Blog.

Hope you get to make one very soon,

Happy Crafting,

Jenny

STAMPIN’ UP! HIPPEST HIPPO AND PICTURE THIS!

For today’s card we have the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set. I wanted to use the Picture This Dies.

With the Picture This Dies I added some different pieces of pretty Happiness of Hues Paper and also added texture with some co-ordinating card embossed with different folders (Bark 3D, Splatters and the Gingham Folders)

I like the fun, bright colours in this card. And that hippo … You can’t help but smile when you see him.

And … You really are the best too so don’t forget that.

The Hippest Hippos Stamp set is one you can pick with your qualifying orders over $90 AUD for Sale-A-Bration. The Hippo Dies you can select with another $90.

There are lots of other choices though too. Even some catalogue choices. Have you checked them out?

KOALA HAPPINESS WITH WILD AND SWEET!

Today a little “happy” card for you. Well I hope it is anyway.

I have shared a lot of cards recently with the Wild and Sweet Stamp set but realised I hadn’t shared this one.

I teamed the koala with the Hues of Happiness paper. It makes for a bright, happy card.

The koala is simply stamped in Gray Granite. The scallop edge is from the Scalloped Contours Dies.

I realised that the sentiment is I think, from a retired stamp set. I was trying to find where it was from. Sorry.

Fun Fact for my overseas readers. A Koala is not a bear. It is commonly called that. It is in fact a marsupial and not related to the bear family. 🙂

Hope you have a “happy” Wednesday.

ANOTHER TUNNEL CARD WITH HUES OF HAPPINESS!

I shared a Tunnel card recently. That one was in Gorgeous Grape. I thought I would share another version I made. This one in Melon Mambo.

I used the gorgeous Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. You can’t go wrong with that paper. It is gorgeous. I know, I already said that but it is. 🙂

Also used for this card was the lovely Happiness Abounds Bundle (Stamps and Dies).

You can see the Gorgeous Grape version. And you will also find the video and the measurements on that post too.

Check the blog post out with video and instructions ->HERE.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #135 – DIES THAT CUT THE PAPER!

Wednesday’s WOW! #135 – Diecut those paper images!

Stampin’ Up! are clever. A big appeal with Stampin’ Up! is the co-ordination and it is not just with the colours. The tools work with the other products too.

Have you noticed? Many dies available in a suite can be used to diecut the images on the Designer Series Paper. No snipping with scissors for many of these.

I discovered this with the Blossoming Happiness Dies on the flowers of the Hues Of Happiness Paper. And it is not just the larger flower. It is also with the smaller flowers and the leaves.

Check it out below.

I had started cutting these with scissors and then discovered this little gem so just had to share with you.

Have a happy Wednesday,

Jenny

THIS CARD WAS A CHALLENGE!

If you follow me along on Facebook you might have seen a discussion over this card.

I wasn’t happy with it. I thought it was the vellum. I had lots of great suggestions and have now updated the card.

I removed the vellum piece. That really wasn’t working right. I tried a diecut circle or shape but the white circle there was the largest I had. In the end I lengthened the ribbon and kept it simple.

I have used the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts.

I thought I would share it with because even when we have been creating cards for some time and we are so-called “professionals” (kind of), we still have challenges. I haven’t even shown you many of the cards that haven’t made it out in to the world. So don’t be discouraged if sometimes your cards don’t come up the way you would like. Just keep creating and …if you are unsure always ask. People love to share their ideas.

Keep on creating,

Jenny
