SOME SPECIAL CUSTOMER THANK YOU CARDS!

I can show you these cards now.  Recently I made these Thank You cards for a special group of customers.  This group has been with me for 10 years now supporting me, encouraging me and attending my events.  I wanted to mark the special occasion.

I made a couple of different variations but using similar products.

Paper: Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper,

Card: Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Balmy Blue.

Stamps: Butterfly Gala, Magnolia Blooms.

Inks: Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight,

Dies: Stitched Rectangles Dies, Stitched Nested Dies.

Other: Butterfly Duet Punch, Adhesive Rhinestones, Adhesive Pearls.

I wanted to tell you how I created the butterflies.  I stamped the butterflies from the Butterfly Gala stamp set on white card.  Before I punched them out I sponged over them.  Firstly with a colour in the centre and then around the outside with another colour.  The butterflies were all different colours. I punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. To add some highlights I sponged around the edge of the butterfly with the colour I used on the outer edges.

I really appreciate these lovely group of ladies.  They changed the direction of my business and continue to support me.  They have become lovely friends.

Now let me just take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you.  Thanks for all your support, your comments when you can, your pinning and Thanks for visiting my corner of Blog land.  It’s because of you I post often hoping to inspire you.  I hope I do that.  Thanks for your support.

I’m looking forward to a new year of creating and sharing.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

OCTOBER STAMPING AROUND THE WORLD BLOGHOP – MAGNOLIAS!

Back with you again for another Blog Hop with the Stamping Around The World Tutorial team. Using the same stamp set we have used in our tutorial project for the month I have used the Magnolia Blooms stamp set.  You might have come from Allie’s blog -> HERE. or starting on your way from this post. Either way, enjoy the hop.

I won’t give you all the specific card sizes but it is the standard card size. Each layer (the black and the white) are 4mm or 1/8” smaller in size. The paper strip from the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper is the length of the white card and 4 1/2 cm or 1 3/4” width.

On the white card stamp the Magnolia with Memento black. Then adhere the paper strip along the bottom. Wrap around the Black Ribbon before adhering it to the black card mat.

On scrap white card stamp the Magnolia again with Memento and colour it with the Stampin’ Blends. I used Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green. Hand cut that out and adhere it on to a Vellum circle.

The sentiment is heat embossed in Copper and cut with the small Rectangles Stitched dies and layered on to the little Ornate Frames Dies.

Now you can continue on your hop.  Click the link button below or you can head straight to Stefanie’s blog -> HERE.

MAGNOLIA FLOURISH!

Back with another Magnolia card today.  The Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper has been very popular.  Everyone who sees it just wants to have some. It is gorgeous.

I showed how to colour the paper last post.  That was cool.  Today though we are making the paper the feature.

You don’t need much more.

I diecut the gorgeous edging using the Delicate Lace Dies from the Petal Pink card.  The sentiment is from the Magnolia Blooms set and added a little Petal Pink Organdy ribbon and Adhesive Pearls for some elegance.

Simple as.  So go and cut in to that gorgeous paper.

Have a great day,

Jenny

MAGNOLIA HALF-FOLD CARD!

Today I have a Magnolia Card for you.  I shared a card recently with the Magnolia Blooms set.  This is another card I made at the time.

The Magnolia flower was coloured with the Petal Pink and the Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.

This is a Half-Fold Card.  The front of the card base is cut in half. I used a strip of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper down the left hand edge of the card base.

There is a smaller panel that is placed off the edge of the front flap with the magnolia image.  It’s simple but adds another dimension to your card.  See the inside below.

I should have coloured the inside leaves.  I forgot about them.

I’m really liking this Magnolia Blooms set.  Why?

  • It’s simple to use.
  • It’s easy to colour. The simple lines and shading makes it easy to follow when colouring to get the depth of colour on it.
  • It’s great for a Beginner stamper starting out in stamping but great for the Avid stamper who can step it up with other products they have.
  • It has great sentiments for any occasion.  I love the font too.
  • It’s affordable.  $24 AUD people! How great is that.

So have you got this set?? Really.  It’s one of THE most affordable sets in the catalogue.  You won’t find it in the Annual Catalogue.  It is in the Experience Creativity brochure.

MINI MOSSY MAGNOLIA CARD!

You have probably seen a lot of Magnolia cards around the internet.  It’s quite a popular one and rightly so.  This Good Morning Magnolia bundle is very gorgeous.  But have you noticed the smaller version – the Magnolia Blooms set?  It is a very gorgeous little sister.  I have been playing with this set a bit recently.

I wanted to show you this Mini card we made last weekend.  I was at a Craft Show last weekend and this was the Make and Take card that everyone got to make that stopped by my stand.  It is a simple card with little stamping but very effective I think.

This mini card is about 10cm x 10cm (3″x 3″).  Each layer is 4mm (1/8″) smaller in size.

Being a quick card I didn’t want people to be colouring the flowers in.  There wasn’t time for that and for beginner’s that can be challenging.  The small magnolia flower was stamped on the Petal Pink card mat in Mossy Meadow twice on the left hand edge.  Reinking the stamp each time before stamping.  The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink.

The paper strip is from the Good Morning Magnolia Designer Series Paper Stack.  It was all adhered together and of course – add some bling. 🙂

Simple but sweet.

The Magnolia Blooms set is not found in the Annual Catalogue.  It can be found in the smaller Experience Creativity brochure which is aimed for new stampers.  It’s a great little stamp set and what else is great?? The price.  $24.  How awesome is that!

You can find this set in my store though too.  Find it -> HERE and add it to your collection. Please use the Host Code: 6F6336UW

You won’t be sorry.  It has a lovely simple flower and a smaller bud and the little leaf.  What I also love is the sentiments.  These are such useful sentiments for lots of different occasions.  I hope you grab it.  I will share more with it over the next days and weeks.

Thanks for visiting,

Jenny
