A FLATTENED RAINBOWS OF HAPPINESS CARD!

I’m putting this card out there. Is it just me?? I feel that this rainbow is a bit flat. I added them the wrong way. But I thought I would show you anyway. Maybe it’s near the top of the rainbow?? Maybe it’s just so cloudy you can’t see it all? Is there a wrong way? Maybe I’m overthinking it …

I used the Brilliant Rainbows Dies with the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series Paper. I do love the pretty paper though with it’s fun colours and patterns.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages Stamp set.

You can see the Rainbows in my store -> HERE.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #127 – BEAUTIFULLY PENNED SWEET PAPER NOTES!

It’s Wednesday WOW! #127 and Beautifully Penned Paper Week. What a double bonus!

What about making some cute little Paper notes with pretty papers. I used the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper for these. They are so easy – and sweet!

These are little Customer Thank You notes for those of you who ordered this month. Are you getting one?

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN

Cut the paper to 15cm x 10cm. Score at 7.5cm. (6″ x 4″ score at 3″). It’s that easy!

I added a white card insert inside to write on. The small flower from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set (another Sale-A-Bration choice) was stamped inside to match the sentiment tag I added on the outside.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set and diecut with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies.

This Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper is a free choice for Sale-A-Bration with orders over $90.

You can see more of the prints on this paper -> HERE.

STAMPIN’ UP! BUTTERFLY BIJOU CARD WITH A SKETCH!

Last week on my Private Facebook group I shared a sketch and encouraged others to use the sketch to create a card. Of course, I had to create a card also. I love using sketches. They are a great spring-board to your creating.

This is the sketch. This is from the Freshly Made Sketches.

This is the card I created. I have used the gorgeous Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Of course you have seen it by now right. 🙂 So lovely.

For the shape on the sketch you can use any shape but I chose the butterfly as I have been creating with the Butterfly Brilliance products this past 2 weeks.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages set. Inside you can add another sentiment whether it is a Birthday or Thinking of You or whatever occasion. I punched the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch.

Maybe you can use this sketch in your next project. If you like, share it with me on my email at jghayward@yahoo.com I would love to see. It’s always fun to see other people’s interpretation.

Have a great day,

FLOWER AND FIELD FLOWER CARD!

Have you seen the lovely Flower and Field Designer Series Paper?? One side has some great flower patterns and the other side has more plain prints.

Flower and Field DSP

For the card I am sharing today I have used 2 of the papers. I love how they work together. And, the card is oh so easy to put together!

The flowers were fussy cut from one of the prints and I love how it contrasted so well with the stripey print. I added the Vellum rectangle, cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, to help highlight the flowers so they don’t get so lost among the stripes. A simple sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set and cut with the Messages Die.

You can grab this Flower and Field Designer Series Paper Free with your orders over $90 for Sale-A-Bration. Or choose any of the other sets. Less than 2 weeks left!

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #116 – CUT THE MANY MESSAGES STAMP!

For Wednesday’s WOW! #116 I have a little tip for you with the Many Messages stamp set. What I’m going to tell you is … cut that stamp!

Yes I know it is pretty horrific to cut in to the rubber on a stamp. Why did I cut the stamp though??

When I first got the Many Messages stamp I realised it is one big stamp. Yes I was in a hurry when I ordered and didn’t read the catalogue properly. That’s ok though. 🙂

I loved many of the sentiments on the stamp but I didn’t want to ink the whole stamp or most of it to get the one sentiment. And I didn’t want to have a multiple of sentiments sitting around waiting to be used.

So … I cut it up.

With all the sentiments now separated I could use whatever one I wanted to.

TIPS WHEN CUTTING THE STAMP

First adhere the backing sheet (stickers) with the words on it on to the stamp. To do this, only remove half of the backing sheet. Line it up with the stamp and only put the one half of the sticker on to the stamp and press it down to smooth it out. Then peel off the other half and adhere the rest of the sheet.

When cutting the stamp, have the rubber of the stamp facing up so you can see the actual stamp. Cut carefully around the words being sure to leave an edge. It is better to cut them with the rubber side up rather than following the sticker as you don’t want to cut any of the words off. Use sharp scissors and take your time. After they are all separated you can then go back to each one and trim and straighten any of the edges.

The stamps can be stored directly on to the inside back of the case.

Another note on the Messages Die since we are talking about this. Don’t be limited just to the stamps in the Many Messages stamp set. Although they are a bundle and work together there are many other stamps you would have in your other stamp sets where the sentiments would fit in some of these spaces in the die. Check them out and see what you can find.

I hope you find these tips helpful when using this stamp set and the Die. You will find it so much more versatile.

The Many Messages Bundle can be found in my store now -> HERE.

Or you can contact me directly if you need help.

Have a great Wednesday,

Jenny
