PUNCH BUNCH GIFT BOX AND CARDS!!

I recently had my Punch Bunch Gift box class.  I can now finally get around to showing you.  I used the Sale-A-Bration set ‘Punch Bunch’  and created this little box big enough to fit 4 3″x3″ cards.  These were a lot of fun to put together.  I used Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Whisper White to create them.

This is the box with the cards in them.

I will give you instructions for the box at the end.  This box was inspired by a box on our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator website.  I adjusted it to fit these little cards in.  On the box I created a little window by punching out the front with the 1 3/4″ circle punch.  (Do this before you assemble the box!!).  I thought it was nice to have the window.  No matter what card you have at the front it shows through.  I had stamped over the box with the flower from ‘Bliss’ Sale-A-Bration set.  For the flowers on the front I used markers to colour the flower on the ‘For You’ stamp.  After stamping I cut them out.  They were adhered to the front after wrapping around some narrow taffeta Old Olive ribbon.  You can’t really tell but I added some bling to the flower with the 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds.

Here is the box with all the cards showing.  I will show you the cards close-up below.

For the cards I used the Big Shot and various punches.

Here are the instructions for this cute Window Box.

Cut card 19cmx14cm.  On the 19cm side, score at 8cm and 11cm.  On the 14cm side, score at 3cm and 11cm.  Fold on all the score lines.  Cut the small score lines on the long side up to the score line running across.   (Remember to stamp your box and punch the circle before assembling).  Add Sticky Strip on the side tabs and small tab and assemble.

I hope these are clear enough.  Email me if you have any problems. 🙂

Have you got your Free Punch Bunch set yet, or any of the other Sale-A-Bration sets??? You only have 2 weeks left, so get to it.  You can select any of the Sale-A-Bration sets with a $100 order, or have a workshop and when your sales are over $600 you can select another SAB set for FREE.  See your demonstrator, or if you don’t have one you can contact me and I can have it shipped anywhere in Australia.

Have fun creating your own box and cards.  Until next time, Happy Stamping!!

“OWL BE SEEING YOU!!!”

I am just going to interrupt my posting of my Extreme Elements Cards at the moment to show you this card.  My husband wanted a Farewell card for someone at work and he wanted to make it himself.  I wasn’t going to stand in his way!!!  We went through some pictures of cards I have saved for future reference.  He decided he wanted an owl and chose a card from SplitcoastStampers.  We changed it a little but went with the colours.  I cut the card and got the “tools” out.  He was impressed with the Big Shot AND the punches!

So, here is the card.

The colours are Certainly Celery, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip.  He has used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder for the Pumpkin Pie.  He inked up the owl from Punch Bunch, first in Chocolate Chip and then in Certainly Celery and punched them out.  He didn’t add a greeting on the outside.  Inside he wrote “Owl be seeing you!!!”

What do you think???  Pretty Good Hey!  I think he did a great job.

Back to regular programming tomorrow!

BABY ‘PUNCH BUNCH’

I needed to make a few more baby cards and thought it was timely to use the Sale-A-Bration set “Punch Bunch”.  I made a pink and a blue one.  They were very simple as I haven’t got a lot of spare time at the moment!

A pink one for the girls.

I ran a piece of the Pretty in Pink card through the Big Shot with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder and layered this onto Whisper White. I raised that off the Pretty in Pink Card base with mounting tape.  I stamped the baby tag from “Punch Bunch” in Pretty in Pink and punched it out with the small tag punch.  This was raised off the card with mounting tape and I then tied a small bow with the lovely Organza ribbon.  I did some paper piercing in both opposite corners.

For the blue one I did exactly the same using Bashful Blue.

Very simple but I think very cute!  Ok, gotta run.  I’m off to the school for an appointment with the Principal.  Gotta love those!

Enjoy the rest of your day – AND Happy Valentine’s Day to all my lovely readers.  I hope your day is special.  If you don’t get anything special from your ‘significant other’, then go and buy yourself some chocolate.  You know you deserve it!!  xxx 😉

BLISS BOX AND CARD!

On Saturday I held my Sale-A-Bration Kick-Off event to start the new year of stamping.  It was a great day with some lovely ladies.  I think they enjoyed their stamping????  This is the project I put together for them.

I have used the Sale-A-Bration set ‘Bliss’.  I love that set, it is so versatile.  I used the lovely rich Cherry Cobbler and Regal Rose.  This is the box.

This is just a little narrow box as you can see in the photo below.  Just the size to put some small love note size cards or something simlar.

The original box came from a USTAMP project a few years ago.  I modified it a little to fit our card size so I could get 2 per sheet.  On the front of the box we scalloped the edge of the Regal Rose card with the scallop trim punch.  On the Whisper White card, I sponged the edges of the card with the Regal Rose ink.  The flourish from the set was stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  The butterflies for the box and the card were stamped in scrap card in Regal Rose and then rock and rolled in Cherry Cobbler.  These were cut and raised up with dimensionals.  The little tags were made with the Tiny Tags set.  The flourish from that set was stamped in Regal Rose on the white and Cherry Cobbler on the Regal Rose.  The greeting was stamped on the white.  They were punched out and layered and raised up with the dimensionals.  Phew!  That’s a mouthful!  Does that all make sense???  Here is a close up to see that clearer.

To add the bling I added a Rhinestone to the centre of the flourish and the edge of the tags.

The card was similar to the box with the flourish and 2 butterflies.  The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.  Here is a close up of the card.

I had made up a similar box in different colours for the lucky Door Prize.

I used Elegant Eggplant cardstock and Lap of Luxury DSP.  The tag was made using the “For You” Flower from the Sale-A-Bration set “Punch Bunch.  It was first stamped in Elegant Eggplant and then stamped again in Pretty in Pink.  I cut the one flower out and raised it up with dimensionals.  This was punched out with the 1 1/4″ circle then matted with a 1 3/8” circle in Elegant Eggplant and I then punched out a scallop circle in Pretty in Pink.  I added some Dazzling Diamonds for a bit of bling.

Ok, I hope I didn’t bore you too much with all those details.  It was a fun day and I’m looking forward to more stamping with my friends soon.  Right now, I’m getting off here.  It is such a hot day here today.  The summer weather has arrived just when all the kids go back to school today.

See you soon,

Jenny xx

A CUTE BOX- AND A CARD!!

Just stopping by quickly.  I wanted to show you some cute projects we did last week at our play day.  I got together with some of my best stamping buddies, Andrea, Leonie and Tracey.  We did some fun projects.  I have to say though, I didn’t get as much done as the others.  I had to leave early.  They went on into the early hours!

This is one of the first projects we did. Andrea showed us her cute box she received recently from Lynda.  We got to make one.  Thanks Lynda for the inspiration!

EDITED TO ADD:  Lynda and Andrea let me know that the little box is by Dawn Griffiths.  This is her blog.  Go and check out all her amazing creations.

Here is my creation:

For this I have used the flower from the Sale-A-Bration set “Bliss” directly on the cardstock.  I have used Marina Mist.  I have just discovered this colour.  It is such a lovely colour.  The scallop circle ‘For you’ is from another Sale-A-Bration set “Punch Bunch”.   I used the markers direct to rubber to colour the flowers and words and punched the circle with the 1 1/4″ punch.  This was layered on a circle punched from the 1 3/8″ circle in Marina Mist.  I then inked up the stamp in Regal Rose and punched it out using the Scallop Circle Punch.  These were all adhered together and layered in mounting tape.  I added an adhesive pearl in the centre of the flower.  This is such a cute little box.

I can show you a card I made that day too but I have to say I really struggled with this and I am still not that happy with it.  This one was a White is White Challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges here.  We could add another colour but the project must be predominantly white.  In the end this is the end result.  Sometimes what you have in your head just doesn’t come out right!!

I used the Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds on the Baroque swirls to add some bling.  It is a bit hard to see here.  I added some adhesive pearls to the sentiment oval.   Go and check out the entries to this challenge.  There is some absolutely gorgeous designs there.  I didn’t even bother adding mine!!

I have another project we did that I will show you shortly.  That’s enough for one day.  Enjoy the rest of your day.
