One side has bold floral prints and the other side has simple patterns. The colours are very strong and rich. I will say initially I thought it was too heavy. But you don’t need to use it all on your project.

What I love about this paper too is that the dies from the Fragrant Flowers Bundle match some of the dies on the paper. So no fussy cutting around. The flowers from the stamp set co-ordinates so well the paper too.

BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY WITH TWO TONE FLORA DIES!

Another card with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set.

Have I told you how much I love this set?? I love the sentiments and I love that it is a 2-step set which is great. What I don’t love is that it is only available for less than 2 weeks with Sale-A-Bration coming to an end. 😦

As a 2-step stamp set you can stamp the outline in the Memento Black and then use the “fill-in” images to stamp inside the outline. Of course you can colour it with the Stampin’ Blends or Pencils if you like to.

On this card when I stamped the Balmy Blue little ball flowers I didn’t like how it also coloured the leaf tips on some of the upper flowers so I coloured over them with the old Olive Marker and coloured the stem too. I coloured the centre of the flower with the Daffodil Delight Marker.

The sentiment is diecut with one from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. The background was diecut with the beautiful detailed background die from the Two Tone Flora Dies. They give such a soft, delicate touch.

AROUND THE BEND WITH DAINTY FLOWERS + VIDEO!

I have had more fun playing with the Around the Bend Bundle. I’m loving these stamps and dies.

Today’s project comes with a video with 9+ Tips in using this bundle when putting together this card.

HOOT, HOOT – ADORABLE OWL CARD!

I don’t do a lot of colouring but I have been having a little fun with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set recently. They are cute!

This card I showed on my Facebook Live last week. You might have caught it but I thought I would share it with you now.

I have coloured the owl with the Watercolor Pencils and given it a light wash with the Water Painter. Just be sure to use Stazon ink to stamp the image in if you are using Water so the black ink doesn’t run.

BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY CARD 1

I played with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set recently.

It is a gorgeous set. And bonus it is a 2 step stamp set so you don’t have to colour it if you don’t wish to. You can use the “filler” stamps. That makes for quick cards. Of course you can colour the line images if you like too.

The sentiment is diecut with the Something Fancy Dies. I have diecut 2 and layered them together off-setting them.

2023 STAMPIN’ UP! MINI CATALOGUE

Favourite Suite:

The Fancy Flora Suite p14-17.  I love that detailed die and the Something Fancy Dies.  But of course, you have that gorgeous Fancy Flora paper.

Favourite Paper:

This one is too hard. There are so many gorgeous papers just like the Fancy Flora paper seen above. Also, By the Sea Specialty Paper with the gold streaks through it. p22-23.

Favourite Bundle:

The Around the Bend Bundle p 35.  I loved the Curvy Dies a few years ago so was so excited to see these.  Watch out for some fun projects with these.

Masculine sets:

Yes finally some great ones for the boys cards.  The Greatest Journey Dies for the adventurer p 59. Ready to Ride Suite – a great motorbike set, and the Enjoy the Rhythm stamp set p72 for the music lover in your family.
