Welcome to the ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop. It’s nice to have you stop by. I am sure you will see lots of gorgeous projects along the hop with the lovely new products from the new Holiday Catalogue.
Firstly though, ESAD is a great group of Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand and we love sharing with you regularly.
You would have come from Rachael’s blog HERE or you are starting from this blog. You can just hop from one post to the other though in the links shown in each post and see the projects.
For my projects today I have used the very cute So Santa set. I love that we have some “summery” Christmas sets because in Australia we don’t have snow and snowmen at Christmas time.
These are the 2 cards I have made.
Don’t you love the cool Santa dude in his boardies. (yes, that’s Aussie for Board shorts). They were both coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. I kept the layout the same for both and just changed them slightly. Both the sentiments are from the So Santa set. The paper is from the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue. Of course you could use any paper. I just flagged the end of the pieces. They were adhered to a white card mat that I had embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
One of the images I cut with the Layering Squares Framelits and I cut a Silver Glimmer Paper scallop square to go behind it. The other was cut with the Layering Circles Framelits with a scallop circle behind it.
Hope you like these Santas??

Recently you might have read I was giving away a Stamparatus celebrating my 10th Stampin’ Up! Birthday. I made up some special mini Thank You Cards to give to those who ordered during that week with a little gift. I thought I would show you the cards.
These measure 10cm x 10cm (4″x4″). The flowers, I think they are roses, from the Petal Palette set are stamped in Memento Ink and then coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. The white card is adhered to a co-ordinating coloured card mat and then to a Thick Whisper White card base. The sentiment is from the Petal Palette set and cut with the shape from the Petals and More Thinlits. For a little extra addition I added the small leaf spray from the Thinlits set which was cut in White card.
Here is a close-up of 2 so you can see them a little clearer.
These ones are Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight.
I think they liked them. 🙂

A quick one for Wednesday’s WOW! #38 today. I wanted to share with you a way to make those images ‘POP’ after you colour them.
The other day I was colouring the butterfly from the Beautiful Day set with the Stampin’ Blends. I had an idea to add a few dots to it with my White Gel Pen. I thought it added a little something to the image and thought you might like to see it.
It is a little rough but the idea is something to work with. What do you think? Maybe you could try that on a project you are doing?
Anyway, what did I do with this butterfly when I was done? I added it to a jar that I collected my Lucky Door Prize forms at the show.
Thanks for looking
