TEAM DAY SWAPS!

Last week we had a Team Recognition Day for the Inky Fingers Team I am in. It was a lovely day of creating together especially as we hadn’t been able to meet together for so long. We chatted and created and were recognised for our achievements this year.

This was all the lovelies in our team who attended the day.

Clare our DDM (Demonstrator Manager for Australia) was there. It is always so lovely to see her bubbly self. 🙂 This is also with Sarah one of my team members who came along too. It was so great to share that with her.

Vanessa our team leader gave some of us a little gift. There were particular requirements to attend the day and those who achieved the requirements TWICE received this gift box with some special ribbon and embellishments. I was so honoured to receive one.

The boxes are the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. Isn’t it gorgeous!

Below are the swaps I received. I didn’t make any swaps. We only found out the day before and I really didn’t have time to get anything together but people were so lovely to share some of their swaps with me.

This is a little bar of soap in the little cellophane bags. It is a lovely idea instead of chocolate.

This one is created with the Dove of Hope stamp set with the World Map Dies. I love how these co-ordinate together.

This is a little treat bag. Another lovely gift. It’s a great size for a mini chocolate.

This card below was created by my friend Leonie. It’s the cutest mini Pop-Up card using the Warm and Toasty stamp set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas.

The little tree inside is from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set.

Stop by tomorrow and I will share the cutest little gift box and mini cards we made as our projects.

Have a great day,

Jenny

TEAM CHRISTMAS SWAPS!

It was the last team meeting for the year on Wednesday.  I wanted to share the swaps I received.  I have to say I didn’t get to make any swaps for this time but people were very generous in giving me one.

Firstly, this tag set is from Bonnie.  She made a cute little holder for the 6 tags.  There were lots of different stamp sets used to create these tags.

Christmas treats and a tag.  I liked the way Barbara made the tag using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.  They are all lovely.  I am sorry I don’t have any directions for the little chocolate box.  The window is cut using the Stitched Rectangles  dies though.  It is really sweet.

Then an origami ornament from Vanessa.  I have seen these a few times recently.  I have wanted to make one but as yet haven’t had a chance.

You can see how to make them in this Youtube link -> HERE.

It might be too late for you with these for this Christmas but be sure to PIN them or save the ones you like ready for your creating next year.

Thanks for visiting me,

Have a great weekend,

Jenny

BIRD BALLAD MINI CARD AND ENVELOPE!

I received this mini card in our team swap last month using the gorgeous Free As A Bird stamp set and the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I shared my swap a few posts back using the Wildly Happy stamp set. Pop back a few posts if you missed it.

I think it was from Barbara.  It is gorgeous isn’t it.

Bird Ballad Mini Card

The birds were cut from the Designer Series Paper.  You know what I love too?  The envelope is stamped.  It’s nice to dress up the envelopes even for these mini cards.

The card is a small 7.5cm x 7.5cm or 3″x3″.

Just a quick one today but thanks for visiting me.  It means a lot.  I don’t really like talking to myself. 🙂

Have a great day,

Jenny

WILDLY HAPPY MINI THANKS!

I have been having some fun with the Wildly Happy Stamp set lately.

I made a number of mini cards to have for our team swaps and also to have for Customer Thanks. As I had to make quite a few I didn’t have time to colour them – and you don’t have to all the time.

Stampin' Up! Wildly Happy

These are mini cards measuring 10cm x 10cm (or 4″x4″). To get 3 out of 1 sheet of A4 card I cut the card at 9.9cm and 19.8cm. Then cut each piece at 19.8cm and score at 9.9cm.

I made a few of each of the 2019 Incolors with the different cute animals in the stamp set. The card mats were embossed with the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.

The sentiment tag is actually from the Smooth Sailing dies.

Hope you like them.

Have a great weekend.

TEAM CHRISTMAS CARD SWAPS!

Ok, I know Christmas is done with for another year but I have one more post to share with you.  Recently I had a Team Card Swap for my JEN’s INK team.  I thought I would share them all with you because I love each and everyone of my team members and I love that they got involved.  I will say that some were very nervous to take part.  So I am proud of them.

It was a Christmas theme.  It was a small group involved for this one because this time of year gets a bit crazy.  But give them all a cheer.  They all did well.

My card was the top left one with the Making Christmas Bright set.  I was inspired by a card on Pinterest. Now I can’t find who it was by.  I hadn’t Pinned it.  Oops!  I liked the idea of stamping it on Crumb Cake. I thought I had a single photos of it but I can’t find it now.  Crazy times forgetting everything. 🙂

Happy New Year to you all.

I am excited to continue to create and share projects with you.  Thank you for following me along. I hope you continue this fun journey with me in to 2019.

TEAM SHOEBOX SWAP – DAY 4!

OK, Today is my last sharing from our recent Team stamp day with Shoebox Swap cards.  I have a few various ones for you.

This one below is using that gorgeous Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper.  I have shown lots of cards using this paper recently.  For this card you don’t need much more than backing a section of the paper on to a strip of black card and adhering it to your white base card.  It makes it look so elegant don’t you think??  I think from memory the sentiment banner is a strip of white card and using the small circle punch to notch out each corner.

This next one is a fun fold.  Adhere a strip of the lovely paper, this one is the Nature’s Poem DSP, down the left hand side of the front of your card.  Punch a slit using the Classic Label Punch on the side of the card front.  You need to punch it twice to be sure that the dragonfly fits through. Punch it once near the top, then slide it down a little bit and line it up with the previous punch and punch it again.  A dragonfly from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits was cut from Vellum and also from Cajun Craze.

This is the inside of the card.  The sentiments are from Better Together set.  It’s a cool card.

This card uses the lovely Love What You Do set, the Share What You Love paper and the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.

This is a cute little treat bag below.  It is very quick to make up.  This is based on Pootles bag -> HERE.

I hope you have so enjoyed these little projects from our team day.  We are getting ready for another get together in the next few weeks.  Hopefully I don’t take as long to share those with you. 😉

Hope your weekend is going awesomely.

ANIMAL OUTING TEAM CARDS!

Quite a few weeks back I mentioned a team stamp day I went to and we had a Shoebox swap.  I said I would share the cards we made.  It has taken some time to get back to them with lots of other exciting things happening.  Over the next few days though I will share them with you.

Firstly, if you are not sure what a Shoebox swap is: Each person makes a card and then makes up kits for that card for the number of people that will be there at the event. We had 13 people come along for that team day.  I have already shared my card I made for it some weeks ago.  You can see that card -> HERE.

The Animal Outing set was a popular stamp set to use for that day.  I will show you these cards today.  I won’t give you specific details on the cards.  I think for the most part they are straight forward.

All the Rhinos were coloured with the Blender Pen which I don’t normally use to colour.

The curvy pieces of card sticking from under this card below is actually a piece of Grapefruit Grove card punched with the Daisy Punch.  The Daisy is then cut and sections adhered under the stamped piece.  The background on the Basic Gray card is stamped with one of the stamps from the  Waterfront set I think it was.

The background strip on the card below was stamped with the Waterfront stamp set too I think.  The colours used for this was Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Smoky Slate.  I drew “dashed” lines with Black Marker on the stamped card piece with the Rhino to create a frame around him.

This one below has a lot of different steps to it which I will explain below.

The circles were stamped in versamark using the Stamparatus to position them and then heat embossed.  I think there was a template to cut the circle from the white card (which was shimmery White card) to be sure it was in position.  On the circle off-cut the little frog on a tree was stamped in black Stazon and coloured with the Watecolor Pencils I think.  It was coloured after the next step though.  The circle was sprinkled with Brushos Crystals and then misted with water.  The corners were  punched with the Detailed Trio punch.

I will be back tomorrow with some other great projects from the team day.  Stay tuned.

PINWHEEL TAGS TEAM SWAPS!

I have been on a roll with the Pinwheels lately using the Swirly Bird set.  I needed to make some swaps for our team meeting last night so I decided to make up some quick tags with them.  WELL….. That was the plan.  These tags took hours.  Nothing was going right yesterday.  I was getting ink everywhere, I was cutting things wrong!!! Do you have days like that?  Anyway, I got them done.

swirly tags

I made a few variations of them and a number of each. For the colours on the Pinwheels they are from left: Wild Wasabi and Emerald Envy; Sweet Sugarplum and Peekaboo Peach; Blushing Bride and Peekaboo Peach; Sweet Sugarplum and Elegant Eggplant.  I used some scraps of the Playful Palette DSP stack too.  (I am on a mission to use all of my DSP!).

The white card measures 13cm x 5cm (5 1/8″ x 2″) but you can make them any size you like.  These will fit on a card front to make a full card.  I rounded the tops with the Corner Punch.

The sentiments are from ‘Thoughtful Banners’.  I punched them out using the Classic Label Punch.  It’s cool that you can punch them different ways to create different effects. I coloured the Rhinestones with a black sharpie.

I got there in the end.  I hope you like them.  🙂

BOTANICALS AND TIMELESS TEXTURES!

I made this card a couple of weeks ago for our team swaps. It was a really busy time but I was determined to make some. A number of the lovely people in our team had given me swaps at the previous meeting and at Onstage and I didn’t have any so I really had to make up for it.  Although I still don’t think I made up for the lovely cards I received. 🙂

This card was CASED from a card on a Facebook group I am on.  Yes, I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to think for myself.  I loved the idea though of teaming two of my favourite products and with one of my favourite colours.

?

I have used Timeless Textures and the greeting is from ‘Tin of Cards’.  I am having a great time with the Botanical Builders Thinlits. I cut a Mint Macaron flower with them and then sponged some Mint Macaron ink on the edges. I added a black centre to the flower.  I think it just “pops” it a little.  A little bling with the Rhinestone is good for the sparkle factor.

Thanks for visiting me.  Do stop by again.  Drop a comment and say Hi too.  I love to hear how you are and where you are from.

TEAM CHRISTMAS SWAPS!

I thought I would show you the swaps I received from last week’s team meeting.  There are some really cute ones here.  I think Tags were very common 🙂  They are great to use as tags or add them to cards.

P1170689

Sorry for the lighting.  Sigh! Must do something about this BUT you can get the idea anyway.

Now the cute little penguin card in the back does have a head.  Sorry about the photo.  The penguin is stamped on the inside of the card and a circle window is punched on the front with the hat on the front.  It is so cute.  I love all these ideas. Thank you to all the clever demonstrators in the Inky Fingers Team.  Nice to share ideas.

I will show you my swaps.  Once again – tags! Now that wasn’t the theme but funny how it works out.

P1170686

I CASED the red one from Pinterest and made up the other in Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay.  These use the ‘Sleigh Ride’ Edgelits.  For the red one I punched out stars from Gold Foil using the Star Border punch.  The Smoky Slate one I have punched out one star in Silver Foil. Then I added some Dazzling Details for a sparkle but you really can’t see that well sorry.

I better get going. Our internet is being switched off soon to transfer it over to the new NBN network.  Hopefully it is not too long offline.  I think my kids are going to die!!!!! 😉

Thanks for visiting.
